Doudouboy (France)


After studying typography in Maastricht and 3D communication in Strasbourg, French artist Doudouboy has made a name for himself as an illustrator and 3D animation director, being represented by the Costume 3 Pieces agency and Yellowhouse in Paris, London, Tokyo and New York. His work is characterized by oneiric and luscious ambiences inhabited by weird mascots and reduced, almost sterile creatures. Since a few years Doudouboy has been working successfully for the luxury industry (Yves Saint-Laurent, Kenzo, Van Cleef & Arpels, Galeries Lafayette Paris, Boucheron...) and infiltrated their world with his twisted character creations.

Besides regularly directing personal introspective movies, which have been screened at numerous festivals, he claims to like gourmet food, old monsters, practice kung fu and play music with his girlfriend.
