With an illustration background and animation experience, Fons Schiedon
is known for an explosive colorful style. His collage-like motion graphics
for the documentary SNEAKERS drew the attention of clients like MTV –
who commissioned a series of idents for Nickelodeon. The resulting animations
are inhabited by Schiedon typical happy-heavy pandabears and ponies with
a digestive problem. The follow-up karaoke frenzy for MTV Asia is the
first animated stage appearance for his shape-and-personality shifting
creation ‘monkey’.
In 2005 he joined us for the Pictoplasma Animation Festival, showing a
selection of his ever expanding family of figures and creatures. Since
then a lot has happened, so we're more than eager for an update...
