Tim Biskup and Gary Baseman are both inspired by mid 20th century design. In their continuous creative production their characters seem to be re-visiting their origin, infused with a contemporary feel. The work in this exhibition deals with the fleeting nature of life. Both artists have created several original paintings that examine their own existential perspectives. The paintings range from brooding, hellish images of psychological torture to light-hearted pokes at the artists’ own hang-ups.
